It’s flooring—and then some. Made for More.
There is a powerful desire for public and government buildings that reflect our nation’s increasing need for greater efficiency and sustainability. Corporations and businesses have long sought out Interface for counsel on effectively incorporating sustainability policies and practices, and we’re eager to offer the same services to government agencies.

The Interface GSA contract, GS03F056AA, provides an extensive selection of flooring options, including USDA Certified Biobased carpet tiles, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), and installation services. For more details, contact your local Account Executive.
Current federal law and the Federal Acquisition Regulation direct all federal agencies and contractors to purchase bio-based products in 139 categories identified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), which includes carpet. USDA establishes the minimum bio-based content for each category. For carpet, the minimum is 7%. We’re proud to note that all our CQuest™ backings contain at least 42% USDA certified bio-based content.
Our TacTiles™ installation system creates a stable installation by adhering Interface carpet tiles to each other, not the floor beneath. It’s easy to use, waterless, creates less mess and provides greater flexibility for installation and selective replacement. With virtually zero VOCs and an environmental footprint that’s more than 90% lower than traditional carpet adhesives, TacTiles is also a perfect fit with your sustainability initiatives.
All of our CQuest™ backed carpet tiles and LVT on Sound Choice™ backing are 3rd party certified as recyclable by GreenCircle Certified.
Installing a broadloom carpet creates up to 15% waste. We reduce that to 3 or 4%, and even less if using our non-directional products.
