Used carpet tiles are recycled into new carpet tiles and high-performance engineered plastics.

If we can’t reuse or recycle used Interface tiles, we do the next best thing: turn them into something else … or into usable energy.

HOW RECYCLING WORKS

When the best option is recycling, here's how it works: first, we collect your used tiles and bring them to our factory. Then, our recycling machine in Scherpenzeel kicks into gear.

This machine isn't just any ordinary equipment. It's been third-party verified by Lloyd's, ensuring that the output of the recycling process creates raw materials that can be used for new products.

As an Interface customer, you have an important role to play in our circular economy. The more carefully you care for our carpet tiles while using them, the more likely we’ll be able to reuse rather than recycle them.
