Circularity means

our flooring is

around for longer

A circular economy. Sounds like a business buzz phrase, yet it’s central to everything we do here at Interface. We make products to last – all our carpet tiles come with fifteen-year warranties.

We also make them to be reused, and when that’s not possible, we can fully recycle them.

Circularity starts with the product design. We’ve significantly reduced waste, virgin fossil-based materials, and increased material efficiency. Our products have 88% biobased and recycled materials on average.

This works via our ReEntry® program: a way for our customers to contribute to our drive for even greater circularity.

WHAT DOES REENTRY DO?

REUSE

The best home for your used Interface carpet tiles? Someone else’s floor. Local charities, social enterprises and businesses work with us to make it happen.

RECYCLE

Used carpet tiles are recycled into new carpet tiles and high-performance engineered plastics. That’s what our CQuest™ Bio and BioX backings make possible.

RECOVER

If we can’t recycle used Interface tiles, we do the next best thing: turn them into something else … or into usable energy.

HOW REENTRY WORKS

AN ALL-AROUND APPROACH TO CIRCULARITY

Made to last

Planned obsolescence? Not how we do business. Our products are Made for More. And our 15-year warranties prove it.

Bio-based or recycled

On average, 88% of the materials in our carpet tiles come from recycled or bio-based sources. Some even reach 93%, and we’re pushing it higher all the time.

Lower carbon footrpint

Globally since 1996, we’ve reduced the carbon footprint of our carpet tiles by 82%*. Every chance we get, we go lower.

* Based on global sales-weighted average cradle-to-gate

Reduced waste

34 million kilograms: that’s how much ReEntry has taken back since 2020. We recycled 20 million kg, reused 5 million kg and 9 million kg went to energy recovery.
